ONLINE FINANCIAL TRAINING FOR CHARTER SCHOOLS
The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO), a TEA registered
provider of continuing education, has financial courses online for charter school
boards and administrators. Financial Coding for the Nonprofit Charter School
Campus provides four hours of continuing education credit for campus
administrators and staff. Other budget-related modules are also available for
charter school board members and administrators. They include Budgetary
Approaches, Understanding the Budget Development Process, Outcome-
Focused Budgeting and provide one hour of continuing education credit per
module. To register, visit TASBO's website at www.tasbo.org and go to the
Calendar of Events link located on the left side of the screen.
