RE-SUBMISSION OF FALL PEIMS DATA

RE-SUBMISSION OF FALL PEIMS DATA The re-submission of the Fall PEIMS data is due to the TEA by Thursday, January 23, 2003. Please check with your local education service center for their deadlines.

Submission of the Mid-Year Actual PEIMS data is due to the TEA by Thursday, February 6, 2003. Mid-year data includes actual audited financial data from the previous year (2001-2002). Contact your local education service center for their deadlines.

TWO NEW LINKS There are two new links on the Charter School Division's home page, www.tea.state.tx.us/charter/. The first one is in the center section and is called "Selected Charter School Laws and Rules". This links you to a new page that explains what laws and rules govern charter schools. The links on either side of this new page take you directly to the specified locations that are most commonly used with regards to charters. The second item that was added is also listed in the center section of the Charter School Division's home page. It is near the bottom and is called "Selected Important Dates and Deadlines". It links directly to the hand- book page that contains these resources. In addition to the new links, the Official Charter School Handbook has been completely updated.
