Who may attend: All charter school personnel are welcome. There is no fee for attendance.

Presenters:

    David Loseke, Auditor, Texas Education Agency, will review the most common trouble spots in student attendance accounting, provide hints for avoiding costly mistakes, and answer your questions about the student attendance accounting handbook.

    Telca Porras has worked with the alternative accountability procedures both as a program specialist at TEA and as an alternative education practitioner. She will discuss strategies for collecting the student performance data that schools using the alternative accountability procedures must report annually. She will also provide examples of the data reporting formats recognized by TEA.

    To Be Announced: We are arranging for a speaker(s) to provide assistance with the Repair and Renovation Grant implementation. More information will be available next week.
