September 1, 2001 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Application for Federal Funding (SAS-A200-02) for 2001-02 funding, including Charter Schools that provided instruction in the previous school year. This deadline also applies to joining an SSA.
September 15, 2001 Student Support Programs Deadline to submit Revised Final Expenditure Reports (Revised FER), for programs included in the SAS-A200-01, using the Web-ER Expenditure Reporting System.
September 15, 2001 Special Education Deadline to submit Revised Final Expenditure Reports (Revised FER), for programs included in the SAS-A101-01, using the Web-ER Expenditure Reporting System.
October 2001
October 1, 2001 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Title I School Improvement Program application for funding for 2001-03 (SAS-A207) for Title I schools rated Low-Performing in 2000-01.
October 1, 2001 Special Education Deadline for submitting shared services arrangement (SSA) contracts for new and reconfigured charter SSAs (2001-2002).
October 5, 2001 Migrant Education Deadline for submitting the Annual Migrant Education Performance Reports
October 22, 2001 Special Education Deadline for submitting the Special Charter School Report of Students Enrolled and Students with Disabilities Receiving Special Education Services Through Public Law 105-17 (New Charter Schools)
October 26, 2001 Special Education Current count of Eligible Students with Disabilities Receiving Special Education Services Through Public Law 105-17 (PEIMS child count required of all LEAs on October PEIMS snapshot date)
November 2001
November 1, 2001 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Charter School Data Request Form for Federal Funding for Charter Schools opening and providing instruction to students for the first time on or before November 1, 2001.

Deadline for submitting Charter School Data Request Form for Federal Funding for Charter Schools providing instruction in the previous school year and currently participating in programs administered by the Division of Student Support Programs which have significantly expanded enrollment on or before November 1, 2001.
November 1, 2001 Migrant Education Deadline for submitting requests for new migrant projects.
November 21, 2001 Special Education Deadline for submitting the Special Charter School Report of Students Enrolled and Students with Disabilities Receiving Special Education Services Through Public Law 105-17 (Significant Expansion)
December 2001
December 1, 2001 Student Support Programs Deadline for Charter Schools opening and providing instruction to students for the first time on or before November 1, 2001, to submit Application for Federal Funding (SAS-A200-02) or to join an SSA.
December 3, 2001 Emergency Immigrant Education Program Deadline to submit Biennial Performance Reports
December 4, 2001 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Annual Survey of Children in Facilities for Neglected or Delinquent Children (form SSP-206). This report, completed by the facility administrator, generates Title I, Part A and Title I, Part D, Subpart 2 funding for school year 2002-03.
January 2002
January 1, 2002 Special Education Deadline for submitting requests to establish or change configuration for special education shared services arrangements for the subsequent school year.
January 15, 2002 Student Support Programs Due Date for 2001 CSRD grantee (SAS-A208-02; RFA #701-00-050) Implementation Report for expenditures and activities as of December 31, 2001.
January 15, 2002 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Title I School Improvement Program application for funding for 2001-03 (SAS-A207) for Title I schools rated Low-Performing in 2001-02.
February 2002
February 22, 2002 Special Education Deadline for submitting the Special Charter School Report of Students Enrolled and Students with Disabilities Receiving Special Education Services Through Public Law 105-17 (New Charters and Significant Expansion)
April 2002
April 1, 2002 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Programmatic Amendments for 2001 CSRD Improving Teaching and Learning grant (SAS-A208-02; RFA #701-00-050) for Year 1 (2001-02) program activities.
April 1, 2002 Migrant Education Last day to submit amendments to the 2001-2002 SAS for supplemental funding for migrant summer programs.
May 2002
May 1, 2002 Student Support Programs Deadline to submit amendments to the 2001-02 Application for Federal Funding (SAS-A200-02).

Deadline to submit amendments to Year 3 CSRD Improving Teaching and Learning Continuation Grant application (SAS-A208-01).

Deadline for submitting Ed-Flex Individual Programmatic Waiver applications that will have an effective beginning date of July 1, 2002.
May 1, 2002 Migrant Education Last day to submit amendments to the 2001-2002 SAS for the regular school year migrant programs.
May 15, 2002 Special Education Last day new applications or amendments to the 2001-2002 SAS-A101-02 will be accepted through the WEB SAS system.
June 2002
June 1, 2002 Migrant Education Deadline for submitting requests for new migrant projects.
June 12, 2002 Student Support Programs Due Date for submitting Gun-Free Schools report using the automated GFS Reporting System.
July 2002
July 1, 2002 Migrant Education Deadline to submit SAS-A478-03 application for existing migrant programs with 12-month personnel.
July 1, 2002 Special Education Effective date for use of federal funds approved on SAS-A101-03 using the WEB SAS system (if WEB SAS application submitted on or before July 1).
July 15, 2002 Student Support Programs Deadline for submitting Charter School Data Request Form for Federal Funding for Charter Schools that provided instruction the previous school year (2001-02).
July 15, 2002 Student Support Programs Due Date for 2001 CSRD grantee (SAS-A208-02; RFA #701-00-050) Implementation Report for expenditures and activities as of June 30, 2002.

Due Date for submitting Final Expenditure Reports (FER) for projects not having 12 month personnel or summer school programs.
August 2002
