SEASHORE LEARNING CENTER TOUR Several people have asked for a ride to tour Seashore Learning Center Charter School in Corpus Christi on Thursday, February 24th. Please call the Resource Center at 210-348-7890 if you can provide a ride for someone to the school.
CONFERENCE TRAVEL INFORMATION The Omni Bayfront Hotel has a shuttle that runs every half hour to and from the airport. Use the courtesy phone at the airport to call the shuttle. The cost of a taxi to or from the airport is approximately $15.00.
CHARTER AMENDMENTS Grace Shore, State Board of Education member, requests that any charter schools who have submitted an SBOE amendment to their charter should plan to attend the Planning Committee Meeting on Thursday, March 2nd in Austin to answer questions about their request.
REMINDER The Reading Proficiency Test in English (RPTE) will need to be administered to all Limited English Proficiency students in grades 3-12, including LEP students with parental denial. The testing will be March 28, 2000. If you need additional information, please contact the Student Assessment Office at TEA at 512-463-9536 or your local Education Service Center.
