This workshop is designed to assist those individuals responsible for curriculum development at each charter school. It will provide the attendee with a suggested format for producing a version of your charter's curriculum for your individual teachers. Due to space limitations, please register no more than 2 individuals from your charter school. Materials to bring include: Star Spangled Skills Notebook, 1 empty 3-inch three ring binder, and any curriculum material you may want to share.

All charter schools are welcome to attend these free workshops. Lunch provided.


DEMOGRAPHICS UPDATE The TEA has required that the enclosed demographics be updated for all charter schools. Deadline for this report is Friday, January 7, 2000. See attached.


ANNUAL TEA GOVERNANCE FORM Please fax the attached form to the TEA Charter School office at 512-463-9732 by January 1, 2000.


CONGRATULATIONS to Charmaine Constantine, Director of SER-Ninos Charter, who has secured a $500,000 grant from the City of Houston Housing and Development to help with the purchase of 7.3 acres of land for their new school building. Other charters may want to apply for funding from their city housing and development office.
