- New schools will apply for Program 1-Technology Advancement
- Schools with ADA of less than 250 may only apply for $40,000 and a 10% match is required
- You must organize a Technology Task Force that includes a:
- Technology Director
- 2 teachers
- School librarian
- 2 parents not employed by the school
- 2 students
- The Task Force will make decisions to increase the capabilities of the school
- All items must be purchased from the TIF Board configuration list
- You must:
- Participate in TIF Technology training
- Build a webpage
- Have letters of assurance from the board
CONGRATULATIONS George I. Sanchez Charter is one of four Houston organizations to receive a grant from the newly established Barbara Bush Texas Fund for Family Literacy.
COMPENSATORY EDUCATION First year charter schools are eligible for compensatory education (comp-ed) funds for those students who were eligible for free or reduced-priced lunch the previous school year. Please read the attached memo from TEA for more information.
