CONGRATULATIONS YES College Preparatory School received their Exit TAAS scores this past week and the news is good. 100% of the students passed the Writing and Math portions of the exam while 95% of the students passed the Reading. Only one student in the class was exempted, 33% received Academic Recognition in the Math section and 20% received Academic Recognition on the Reading Section.

CONGRATULATIONS Mike Feinberg, Director of KIPP Academy, is one of six schools with low-income student bodies and exceptional academic achievement that has been awarded the Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship by the Heritage Foundation. His award will be presented to him at a reception at the Capitol in Washington D.C.

RAPOPORT ACADEMY The first grade students at East Waco School, soon to be Rapoport Academy, have opened up their own business called The Craft Gallery. Using knowledge gained in class this year, the students have written a business proposal, developed the plan, and designed wooden bird houses to sell. Each year the students will open a business as part of the entrepreneurial curriculum.
