Congratulations to H.M. Motsinger, founder of Nova Charter in Dallas. Dr. Motsinger and three members of his staff have won full scholarships to attend the week-long 1999 National Charter Schools Leadership Training Academy in Portland, Oregon in June.

READING LIAISON Every Region Service Center in Texas has a Reading Liaison that will be able to assist charter schools with Reading Instruction information. You may call your RSC for help in designing your reading curriculum.

Congratulations to Iris Burnham, founder of Burnham Wood Charter School in El Paso. Her high school students entered the District Wide Science Fair and out of 323 entrants across El Paso she had one student take second place for Individual Projects and four students received Honorable Mention.

FOUNDATION PROSPECT WORKSHEET Geri Felios, Vice President of La Escuela de las Americas Charter School, has offered to share her foundation research forms for your fundraising efforts.
