ATTENDANCE REPORTS REMINDER: All charter schools currently open are reminded to send their student attendance reports to Bill Fojtasek at TEA as soon as possible. THIRD GENERATION CHARTERS: If your school is already open or is due to open before the end of the year please call Sally Friedli at the Resource Center at 210-348-7890.
The TEA Charter School office requests that all First and Second Generation charters should not spend any of the additional $9,000 Federal money until the amendments are approved by the State Board of Education on November 12th. For more information pleae call Esther Murguia at 512-463-9575.

The Governor's Business Council Task Force on the Charter Schools has established a database of needs for the charter schools. The Task Force serves as a clearing house for corporate involvement with Texas charter shcools. The Task Force will partner charter shcools and their needs with the business community and their resources.
