Governance Reporting Form
The 2006 Annual Governance Reporting Form for Open Enrollment Charter Schools is now available online at www.tea.state.tx.us/charter/forms/forms.html. The deadline for submitting the form to TEA is November 1, 2006. For questions, please contact the Division of Charter Schools at 512-463-9575.
Carl D. Perkins Funds
Charter schools and school districts that have not applied for 2006-07 Carl D. Perkins federal career and technology funding must apply by 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, through the online Perkins application. Individual applicants and shared services arrangements that have not certified their Perkins application by that deadline will not receive 2006-07 Perkins grants. Remaining funds will be reallocated to school districts and charter schools that submitted their application by the deadline. To determine if your charter school is eligible for Perkins funding, go to the eligibility list at www.tea.state.tx.us/opge/formfund/carlperkins/06_07PerkPlanning.pdf. A TEA SE account is necessary to use the application.
