The Resource Center for Charter Schools is delighted to announce the re-opening of our Corpus Christi office and the hiring of a new assistant director and office manager. Katie Howell will replace the retiring Jimmie Driver and Denise Vielock will assume the duties of office manager. The Corpus Christi office of the Resource Center will be located in the Education Service Center Region 2 building, and will become the operational headquarters effective June 1, 2006. Patsy O’Neill, the Executive Director, will continue to office in San Antonio.

This new reorganization will increase the benefits for charters as well as allow us to continue to offer the same services that we have provided for the past nine years. The staff looks forward to working with each of you as together we continue to promote the Texas charter school movement. We are also pleased to announce that we are coordinating our email addresses with our website. Our website will remain unchanged at www.charterstexas.org. The Friday Fax will be sent from a new email address: resourcecenter@charterstexas.org. Effective June 1, 2006 the Friday Fax will be sent only by email. If you have additional email addresses to add to the Friday Fax distribution list please send them to resourcecenter@charterstexas.org. Please note the new office address, phone/fax numbers and email addresses.
