Consolidated Application For Federal Funding

NCLB Consolidated Application for Federal Funding
The deadline for charter school organizations to certify and submit their SC5010 NCLB Data Request Form for Federal Funding is July 15, 2006. The data submitted on the request form will be used to determine the charter's eligibility and planning amounts for six programs of the 2006-2007 NCLB Consolidated Application for Federal Funding. This form is currently available in eGrants at http://www.tea.state.tx.us/opge/egrant/.

SC5010 NCLB Data Request Form for Federal Funding critical dates are as follows:

  • July 1, 2006 - submission deadline for charter schools with 12-month personnel paid out of NCLB funds who require pre-award cost approval as of July 1, 2006
  • July 15, 2006 - submission deadline for charter school organizations to certify and submit their SC5010 NCLB Data Request Form for Federal Funding
  • November 1, 2006 - alternate submission deadline for new charter schools opening for the first time
Charter schools will be notified of their eligibility and planning amounts by certified mail. Once notified, the charter may continue the application process in eGrants by submitting the GS2210 Applicant Designation Certification Form and the 2006-2007 NCLB Consolidated Application for Federal Funding. Texas Credit Enhancement Program Training
The Texas Credit Enhancement Program (TCEP) training will be hosted by Texas Public Finance Authority (TPFA), TEA, and Resource Center staff. All potential TCEP applicants are strongly encouraged to attend one of the following training sessions at TEA, Room 1-104, in the William B. Travis Building, 1701 N. Congress, Austin:

    Monday, May 15, 2006 at 1:30 p.m.
    Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 1:30 p.m.
Preliminary copies of the TCEP application will be distributed at the training sessions. The electronic version will be available on the TPFA website by approximately May 24.
