Mark Your Calendar to Explore UT
"Explore UT: The Biggest Open House in Texas!" will be at the University of Texas at Austin on Saturday, March 4, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students K-12, teachers, and families, are invited to attend this free event. Explore UT offers more than 350 educational activities for explorers of all ages. See robots playing soccer, mix up concoctions in a pharmacy lab, deliver the TV news in a real studio, watch a mock trial in a real courtroom, and more. Some activities will be in Spanish, and several activities will focus on choosing careers. Explore UT is a great way to get students thinking about college, and gives them a first-hand look at the state's largest university.
