The volunteerism of parents, community members, and professional business people is the essence of XYZ Charter and makes our learning environment unique. Volunteers improve the level of education and make the day-to-day operations of the school run more efficiently. For these reasons, every parent is encouraged to serve on one of the following action committees.

The
maintenance committee provides a support base to assist the XYZ Charter
administration in taking care of day-to-day campus concerns. Through the team collaboration of XYZ
Charter and chairman of the maintenance committee, the school campus can be maintained
to insure a safe and attractive area for students and community. This team plans, organizes, and completes
maintenance needs that do not require expenditure of funds. If procurement of materials is needed, the
committee chair submits a request to XYZ Charter administration. XYZ Charter administration determines if
spending is necessary and develops a purchase order. Upon receipt of materials, the committee
