Responsibilities and Duties:
Grant
Preparation
- Formulate grant
applications, issue correspondence and other materials according to
required format.
- Organize productivity
to adhere to the deadlines for submission for grant applications and
grant-related reports.
- Gather information,
data and applications required to adhere to grant guidelines.
- Monitor professional
journals, and other publications for the postings of grants and other
funding sources and disperse to charter administration personnel.
Technical
Support
- Monitor requirements
for eligibility, disperse findings and inform charter staff of grant
restrictions, regulations, priorities and deadlines.
- Provide staff training
and assistance in composing project proposals and reports, including the drafting and producing of
program goals and objectives, budget and interpretations for grant funding
guidelines.

- Collaborate with charter
staff to maintain data and write periodic reports to assure all grant
requirements are met.
- Assist in monitoring
the productivity of grant-funded programs.
Documentation
and Law
- Compile comprehensive
files on grants, including a database to monitor and report all grant
activities with the charter.
- Ensure compliance with
regulations and guidelines of grant-funded programs and their expenses
through collaboration.
- Ensure regulations
established by federal and state law that apply to charter schools, Commissioner’s
Rules that apply to charter schools, and charter board policy are met.
